On 7 April 2010, the world-renowned soprano Anne Schwanewilms will give a lied recital in Eppan / South Tyrol in
the Raiffeisen-Forum of the Lanserhaus. The programme will feature a selection of songs by
Richard Strauss and Gustav Mahler. The artist will be accompanied by
pianist Charles Spencer.

Mezzo soprano Kremena Dilcheva will sing works by Gustav Mahler, Morton Feldman, Alban Berg and Ernst Krenek
in the Hubert-Burda-Saal of the Jewish Centre in Munich (Jüdisches Zentrum Jakobsplatz). The
concert will take place on 24 March 2010; the Orchester Jakobsplatz
München will be conducted by Daniel Grossmann.
On March 12th, 14th and 19th, baritone Wolfgang Holzmair will perform at the Hugo-Wolf-festival, which is
organised by the Austrian broadcaster ORF. All festival concerts will take place in the

World-renowned baritone Wolfgang Holzmair, a new VMC artist, will sing the part of Sorceress in two performances
of Purcell's "Dido and Aeneas". Concerts will take place at the Vienna Musikverein on January
9th and 10th, under the baton of Nikolaus Harnoncourt.

Soprano Chen Reiss will give her Musikverein debut in Vienna on 28 December 2009, accompanied by the Tonkünstler-Orchester under the baton of Alfred Eschwé.

Further concerts will take place on 29 December 2009 and on 4 January
2010. The programme will feature arias by Donizetti, Verdi and Lehár.

The prize is donated by th e German Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The virtuoso violinist Eung Soo Kim will perform Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, concert for violin op. 64, for the composers 200th birthday with the Sinfonie Orchester Berlin on 21st February 2009 at 8 p.m.
The concert will be conducted by Kazuo Kanemaki and presented in the Berliner Philharmonie.
