Jendrik Springer was born in 1972 in Göttingen and studied piano and conducting. During his studies he began to build up his extensive repertoire as a Lied pianist.
He is internationally highly in demand as a chamber music pianist and Lied accompanist. He can be regularly heard on stage with Ricarda Merbeth, Krassimira Stoyanova, Vesselina Kasarova, Marlis Petersen, Klaus Florian Vogt, Janina Baechle and Adrian Eröd. Performances have led him, among others, to the Vienna Konzerthaus and the Musikverein, the Tonhalle in Zurich, Carnegie Hall in New York, Wigmore Hall in London or to Tokyo.
In 2017 he will have his debut at the Salzburg Festival or the Schubertiade in Hohenems (both with Krassimira Stoyanova).
