V
MC - Vienna Music Connection – was founded in 2008 by the Argentine baritone Iván Paley and the Colombian trombone player Rodrigo Mora.

For several years, and in the course of their successful international careers, both artists gathered important experiences in PR and marketing and decided to develop a new form of management and PR.

VMC is an innovative artist agency. Its concept is not to separate artist PR from artist placement. For each individual VMC artist, special press kits are produced as a kind of personal business card, complete with an extensive biography and repertoire list in several languages, high-quality photos and a CD/DVD with excerpts from live performances or studio recordings.

The aim of
VMC is to use this PR strategy in order to optimize the artists’ concert agenda with important and prominent performances, as well as to ensure a stronger presence on the CD and DVD market.

Each performance – often arranged by VMC – is accompanied by a PR strategy that has been specially developed for the artist.

This all-encompassing assistance aims at enabling our artists to concentrate on the most important factor of their work – their music.

At VMC, our motto is: It's not only what you know, but who knows you.

Rodrigo Mora was born in Bogotá.
After playing in an orchestra for five years in Colombia, he moved to Vienna, where he completed his studies of the trombone and performed with various European and South American orchestras as soloist and instrumentalist.

In the year 2000, he began to teach in Austria, forming the Amadeus Brass Quintet, an ensemble with which he gave many successful concerts all over the world, winning prizes and recording CDs.

Iván Paley was born in Bogotá.
He studied composition and piano in Buenos Aires. In the year 2000, he moved to Vienna, where he completed his singing studies with Edith Mathis.
Iván Paley has performed, among other venues, at the Teatro Real in Madrid, the Alte Oper in Frankfurt, the Florida Grand Opera and the opera house in Gent. He is particularly attracted to the lied and concert repertoire, having recorded several of Gustav Mahler’s lied cycles alongside Diana Damrau and Robert Dean Smith. From 2006 to 2008, he gave a number of lied recitals on some of the world’s most important concert stages: Carnegie Hall (New York), Alte Oper (Frankfurt), Theater an der Wien, Prinzregententheater (Munich), as well as at the festivals in Rheingau, Ludwigsburg and Schleswig-Holstein.

In 2007, he went on an extended tour of Japan with the soprano Edita Gruberova.
