Anthony Michaels-Moore was the first British winner of the Luciano Pavarotti Competition.
As a Verdi and Puccini specialist, the baritone is known for his interpretation of Rigoletto, Scarpia, Falstaff, Jago in "Otello", Simon Boccanegra and Germont ("La Traviata").
Special highlights of his career include engagements at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and he is a regular guest at venues such as La Scala, the Vienna State Opera, the Metropolitan Opera, the San Francisco Opera, the Paris Opera, Teatro San Carlo in Naples, the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, the Zurich Opera House, the Bavarian State Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Berlin State Opera Unter den Linden, at the Théâtre de la Monnaie, and at the Teatro Real.
