Andreas Hörl
Andreas Hörl was an ensemble member at the Vienna State Opera and has been freelancing internationally since the 2014/15 season. In 2015, the bass made his debut at the Bayreuth Festival as Fafner (Der Ring des Nibelungen) and Titurel in Parsifal for Children. His diverse repertoire includes roles such as Sarastro, Osmin, Komtur, Baron Ochs, Ramfis/Il Re, Basilio, Colline, King Heinrich, King Marke, Fafner, Daland, Gurnemanz, Kaspar/Eremit, Warlaam, Gremin and many others.
Guest engagements have taken the bass to the Bavarian State Opera, Vienna State Opera, Vienna Volksoper, Frankfurt Opera, Komische Oper and Berlin State Opera, Zurich Opera House, Budapest State Opera, Tyrolean Landestheater Innsbruck, Chemnitz Theater, Dortmund Theater, Gran Teatre del Liceu Barcelona, Teatro Real Madrid, Teatro dell Opera di Roma, Teatro alla Scala Milano, Teatro Nacional de São Carlos Lisbon, to the MDR Sinfonieorchester Leipzig, to the Salzburg Festival and to the Richard Wagner Festival in Wels.
